about.
Kia ora, I’m Roberto Campos.
As you may be able to tell from my name, I'm from Brazil. Born in Juiz de Fora and raised in Curitiba, I’m now working happily as an Art Director in New Zealand.
I’m passionate about advertising, art, cinema, craft, football, gastronomy, jiu-jitsu, MMA, music, and rugby. Yes, I’ve put advertising before football. Blame the alphabet.
After 10 years of experience in the Brazilian advertising industry, I moved to New Zealand to learn English and have since fallen in love with this country. This move has allowed me to travel to a new side of the world, experience different cultures and see life with a fresh perspective.
I spent my first seven years in Queenstown, starting at McDonald's and finishing as a Pastry Chef at Jack's Point and Amisfield, which gave me the opportunity to learn English and gain my New Zealand residency. Since then, I've been chasing my dream back into the advertising industry, moving to Auckland and graduating from Media Design School in 2017. My time at Ad School helped me reshape my skills and get a better understanding of how things work here in New Zealand.
All those diverse experiences have helped me grow creatively and inspired me to develop work that inspires others.
After some time at BCG2, BC&F Dentsu and Cheil NZ, I'm currently the Creative Lead for Agency Ingram Micro, working with tech brands across New Zealand, Australia and the global team in North America.

I’ve been lucky to work on some great brands like Subaru, Jetstar, Qantas, Suzuki, Electrolux, Canon, McDonald's, Apple, Microsoft, Logitech, HP, Jabra and Samsung.
